Who is responsible

Clinics-Korea.com 5, Seongmisan-ro 19-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea Business registration number: 232-26-02492 Contact: ceo@clinics-korea.com

We operate Korea Skin Tour and Clinics Korea. This policy covers koreaskintour.com.

The short version

This site does not have a signup, a login, a payment path, or a form that submits data to us. When you use the planner, your own email application opens with a draft. Nothing is sent to us until you press send in your own email app.

We do not set application cookies or run analytics. Our hosting provider may set a Cloudflare security cookie (__cf_bm) to distinguish automated traffic. We load no third-party analytics or advertising scripts.

If you never email us, we hold no personal information about you beyond ordinary server logs.

What we collect

When you email us

If you send an enquiry, we receive whatever you chose to put in that email: your email address, your name if you sign it, and the planning details you included.

We ask you to keep first emails to logistics only: broad interest, approximate dates, Seoul area, and language needs.

Please do not send us medical records, prescriptions, lab results, passport scans or numbers, face photographs, insurance documents, or payment card details. Ordinary email is not a secure channel. If you send such information anyway, we will delete it rather than store it, and we will tell you to send it through the provider's own secure channel instead.

In your browser

The site stores one item in your browser's sessionStorage, named kst.referral.source.v1. It records only whether you arrived from our sister site Clinics Korea, so the two sites can hand off correctly. It contains no personal information, it is not a cookie, it is not shared with anyone, and it is erased automatically when you close the tab.

We also read the utm_source parameter from the address bar if one is present, for the same purpose.

Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested page and timestamp. This is ordinary web-server operation, used for security and troubleshooting, and is not used to build a profile of you.

Cookies, analytics and trackers

We do not run analytics or advertising trackers. Hosting security cookies are described below.

To be specific, this site:

Our application stores the single sessionStorage item described above. Separately, our hosting provider may set Cloudflare's __cf_bm security cookie. Cloudflare describes this cookie as part of its automated-traffic protection; it expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. See Cloudflare's cookie documentation.

We do not use analytics to measure which pages you read or how long you stay. The hosting provider processes technical traffic data for security and troubleshooting. We receive an enquiry only if you choose to email us.

What we do not collect

Why we hold what we hold

We process enquiry emails on the basis of your own request: you contacted us to ask for planning help, and we need the content of that message to answer it. Server logs are processed for the security and operation of the site.

Who else sees your information

Providers you ask us to contact. If you ask us to help arrange a stay, transfer or interpreter, we pass along only what is needed for that specific request, and we will tell you who we are contacting. We do not forward your enquiry to providers you did not ask about, and we do not sell enquiries as leads.

Clinics Korea. Both sites are operated by Clinics-Korea.com. If your enquiry involves clinic facts as well as travel logistics, it may be handled across both, because it is one business.

Service providers. Our hosting and email providers process data on our behalf in order to run the site and deliver mail.

Legal requirements. We may disclose information where required by Korean law or a valid legal request.

If you are writing from the United States

Two things you should know:

  1. HIPAA does not apply to this site, to Korean clinics, or to email you send to either. US medical privacy law does not follow your message across the border.
  2. We handle enquiries in the Republic of Korea. Our hosting and email providers may process technical data in other countries. Cloudflare states that its cookie data may be processed in the United States by default.

This is one of the reasons we ask you to keep the first email to logistics and to let the treating institution collect clinical information through its own secure channel.

How long we keep things

We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you follow up. If you ask us to delete your correspondence, we will do so, except where we are required to retain a record by law.

Your rights

Under Korea's Personal Information Protection Act you may ask us to:

Email ceo@clinics-korea.com and we will respond. If you are unhappy with our response, you can contact the Personal Information Protection Commission of Korea.

Children

This site is intended for adults planning their own travel. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the review date at the top changes and the change is noted here. We do not quietly rewrite policies.

2026-09-20: clarified the hosting provider's Cloudflare security cookie after verifying the public site. No analytics or advertising tracking was added.
